One of the more common types of medieval bone flutes, these working reproductions of original instruments are made here in the workshop and make a delightful sound. Archaeologically, this type of flute has been found in a range of places of both high and low status, such as villages, towns and castles. They're an excellent addition to any medieval musician's instrument collection.
Due to natural variations in the shape of the bones, each flute has a different and unique sound. We like our customers to try several flutes and choose the one that suits them best, so if you're coming along to any of our events, let us know and we'll make sure we bring them along.
