These iconic blankets were once an important item in the days of trade in North America and the Hudson Bay, being shipped from England to be traded for furs and goods. They're rugged but warm, and sometimes are used to make a traditional 'capote' coat. With the popularity of duvets, Early's have decided to stop weaving them, and current stocks are the last of these blankets available. We've been selling the last few from the Early's warehouse at shows over the past couple of years, and the blankets listed here are the very last - the end of an era!

These blankets are white with a broad black stripe at either end, and with the smaller black 'points' stripes along one of the edges.

All other colours of the point blankets have run low and have run out - we expect these 6-point white and black blankets to be the last ones left, after the white 5-point blankets have ended.

We can order these in for you on request, and will check their availability for you when you want to order.

This is just to show the candy stripe point blanket, which alas has sold out, with no more due to be made. There are small numbers of white point blankets left, which are similar to this picture - they have a broad black stripe at either end, rather than the multi-colour stripes.
